TA Potential Officers Prepare to train at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Three Officer Cadets from the local TA Logistic Regiment are about to embark on possibly the most challenging 3 weeks of their life as they start their training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). Sandhurst has a world renowned reputation for providing first class leadership training as its graduates prepare to serve across the Army. Also included amongst its students are TA soldiers, with 3 of whom about to start training coming from 158 (Royal Anglian) Transport Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps (Volunteers). Buckingham Palace Garden Party to Celebrate Cadet 150

To mark the 150th anniversary of the formation of the British Cadet Movement, a 1,500-strong parade took place yesterday on The Mall in London. Members of the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Cadets and the Combined Cadet Force marched in the parade and the salute was taken by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales from a dais outside Clarence House. Norfolk cadets celebrate Cadet 150 in Norwich

Cadet meets Prince Harry as she prepares for Africa Adventure

A student from Rickmansworth is one of 60 Army Cadets from around the UK to be chosen for an expedition to Africa this Summer.  Corporal Katherine Mullin, who studies at the Royal Masonic School, was chosen, was chosen for the special project in the impoverished nation of Lesothe after a gruelling selection course.  The 17-year-old will take part in several treks and adrenalin-fuelled adventure activities, but will also spend some time volunteering.
