On Sunday 1 May, a team of 8 Reservists from 2620 Squadron took part in the Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR). back to top C Company Essex ACF - Easter Camp
West Tofts in Norfolk was the location for this year’s Easter camp where 80 cadets from C Company set up camp for a long weekend. The cadets arrived by coach into a dark unknown camp, after doing a couple of laps of the camp for good measure the coach was flagged down by SSI Groves and directed to a group of adult instructors who guided the cadets to the cookhouse for some grub and a briefing of the next few days. Life coach and ultra marathon runner Andy McMenemy has completed his 66th and final Ultra Marathon at Yorks Knavesmire race course. The son of a the son of a former soldier established a new Guinness World Record for consecutive ultra marathons (50km) with no rest days. During Challenge66 Andy ran 66 Ultra Marathons in 66 Days, one from each of the 66 official Cities in the United Kingdom.
